Recently, on NPR, we heard a story about online virtual worlds and how people are making real money by exchanging virtual goods for cold hard cash. How intriguing. The games mentioned were Second Life, World of Warcraft and Ultima Online.

It got us wondering whether we were hosting any online virtual games where real cash could be earned. So after looking around a bit, it turns out that we are hosting a really cool site called Medevil Wars. It’s a turn based game that you play in your browser, themed after Medevil times. By doing various skill based activities on your turn, and based on the game rules, you can earn gold. Occassionally there are cash rounds and the winner of the cash round gets a cash prize. Pretty cool, eh?
